Techno....My Thoughts
Not a day goes by that I don't use techonology to help me become a more organized person. I'd be lost without my Outlook....literally. I never know where I'm supposed to be, unless I check my calendar. I keep everything -- notes, reminders, letters, etc -- in Outlook. It's my lifesaver because it keep everything in one place....My messy desk is a lot less messy with Outlook.
Picasa....My Thoughts
As Spring Break approaches, I found a fabulous picture of the place I'd like to be next week. I may not get there next week, but I still have a few years left....at least I hope so.
Once again....I'd like to thank Pawz for her patient assistance.

7 1/2 Habits....My Thoughts
After studying the 7 1/2 Habits, I was struck by the extent to which these principles guide our everyday work at the library. We are in the lifelong learning business - the business of empowerment. From birth to death, we provide our customers with the necessary tools to learn, grow and succeed.
Personally, I find Habit 6 to be the easiest. Whether teaching a customer or a loved one, the process affords me the opportunity to improve my knowledge/skils of the subject matter. Teaching fosters a true sense of understanding. I can't teach others, if I don't know myself.
On the other hand, I find Habit 7 1/2 to be the most difficult. Playing is not something that comes naturally for me. I often forget to carve out playtime for myself. Luckily, my loved ones remind me of the importance of playing. This habit is one that I struggle to incorporate in my life....
